Joe Bavonese

In Memory of Joe Bavonese and Celebration of his Life

With great sadness, we share the sudden passing of Joe Bavonese on October 29, 2023 after a battle with cancer. Joe was a committed husband, father, friend, psychologist, practice owner, consultant and business leader. As a pioneering business consultant in the field of mental health, Joe provided guidance to hundreds of professionals around the world touching thousands of lives. His caring and calm approach coupled, with a brilliant business acumen, made him one of the most sought after consultants in the field. He cared for every one of his clients, and was always committed to helping each one find success professionally with a great work/life balance.

We demonstrate what we love through our actions. Joe, simply put, found a great sense of meaning in his consulting work. He did this work, with a strong commitment, to the very end. He found ways to connect with this world, giving love, and bringing out the best in all of us. He is loved and deeply missed.

We know that many of you had wonderful connections with Joe. You are in our thoughts as well.

Since the UP email address will be shutting down, if you have any inquiries please reach out to Joe’s son Ben at benbavonese@gmail.com. There he is continuing a private practice dashboarding service that Joe and Ben worked closely on, which you can find more info about here

Our Mission is to take the best of what we have learned the slow, expensive, hard way – and teach it efficiently to private practitioners who have a sincere desire to succeed in private practice.

Creating a Group Practice

When you have a full practice but realize you still need to generate more income, one solution is to expand to a Group Practice.

Since 2005, Uncommon Practices has helped many psychotherapists expand to a Group Practice, and this unique six-week program guides you through all the necessary steps in developing your own Group Practice.

Group Practice Program

Pay Per Click Advertising

At Uncommon Practices, we have been successfully using PPC ads since 2004, and are currently getting over 50 therapy referrals per month from our ads for our therapy practices. With this service, we set up an entire PPC campaign for you, on Google AdWords. You decide how many extra visitors you want per month to your website, and based on that we will recommend a daily budget for your campaigns.

Build a New Website

Need a website? Many psychotherapists, psychologists, social workers and counselors are finding that having a website is a crucial part of private practice success. We can develop an entire website for you, based on proven principles of website design and search engine optimization.
